Mares in Masterton, Wairarapa, NZ

Primitive Rising Brood Mare - Scarlett Rising

Rei-Huia Sport Horses are even more excited about having the only Primitive Rising brood-mare in New Zealand (Scarlett Rising, who competed to Intermediate eventing in England before export - shown left competing) after Mary King's recent win at the 2011 Rolex Kentucky **** (www.rk3de.org).  William Fox-Pitt also won at the 2010 Rolex Kentucky **** on 'Cool Mountain' a 10 year old gelding by Primitive Rising. Truely modern sporthorse breeding!

We look forward to seeing Scarlett Rising's offspring grow up - the first of ours, a 3 year old by Lord Welton, is aready broken in with an excellent work ethic. Her previous offspring include Cilfton Pledge who went Intermediate with Johnathon Paget. Watch this space!
